We're looking for a Chef de Partie. Bleyenberg is on a journey of becoming THÉ hotspot in The Hague for work, inspiration & FUN, and we need your help to get there.

A day in the life of a Chef de Partie

You start your day by checking the daily sheets and getting some nice fresh coffee. You go through the mise en place (MEP) lists and check the group reservations of the day. Then the MEP begins. Everyone is working independently. You only give the kitchen help a nudge in the right direction. The evening starts, and dinner is going smoothly. After dinner, fresh food is ordered for tomorrow. Each station orders individually, and you check if other chefs need help finishing up. After service you leave the kitchen, grab a drink, and end your day with a satisfying feeling.

Key elements of the job

  • Work in the kitchen and organize all related activities
  • Monitor the culinary level of your station
  • Support and guide the kitchen help
  • Work according to HACCP
  • Communicate and collaborate with other chefs
  • Make optimum use of kitchen appliances
  • Work consistent and efficient


About you

  • You have at least 1 years of experience as a Chef de Partie
  • We like it if you have completed school or training as a Chef de Partie
  • You have good knowledge of cooking techniques
  • You have knowledge of purchasing products and ingredients
  • You have experience with HACCP
  • You are able to work in different stations (pas, garde, entremetier, roti)
